Meet Jess
Welcome to my vibrant world, where patterns, colours, and a touch of nostalgic joy come together! My love of colour shines through in everything I create, and I have a particular fondness for stripes and bold patterns.
I’ve been passionate about crafts, art, and textiles since I was a kid. I was lucky to grow up in a super creative household, which eventually led me to study Textile Design for Fashion and Interiors at Bath Spa, where I discovered my love for knitting.
Today, most of my pieces are made at home in Brighton using my trusty domestic knitting machine, before being lovingly finished by hand. I’m happiest surrounded by yarn, colour, and a little bit of creative chaos. It’s not always tidy, but it’s always colourful and usually fuelled by a never-ending supply of tea, served up in a kitsch novelty mug, of course.
As my business has grown, I've teamed up with a tiny micro-factory in Scotland to help bring larger pieces to life, while still keeping that thoughtful, personal touch.
Sustainability is close to my heart. I love giving yarns and materials a second life by working with secondhand and deadstock yarns wherever possible. Every scrap is saved as you never know when it may come in handy!
Every piece I make is full of care, colour and a bit of love. I work on a small scale, with most orders being thoughtfully packaged on my living room table (in recyclable materials, of course). It’s a lovely thought to think that one of my knitted pieces might bring a little spark of joy every time it's worn.
